Sanjan Nagar and ITA to join Aman Ki Aasha Queens Baton Relay Ceremony at Wagah .. on June 25, 2010 with Hankies for Peace.
The Queen's Baton Relay Ceremony will take place at Wagah Border with runners carrying the Commonwealth torch from Pakistan to India. The Pakistan Olympic Association and the Indian Olympic Association are coming together to celebrate this event.
At the occasion, Aman Ki Asha will also host an event involving some of the thousands of handkerchiefs made by school children across Pakistan and India. If we tied all the hankies together, it would constitute the largest ever chain of peace messages made by children. There will be a ceremonial tying of the knot at Wagah border after the torch has been passed.
