A two day training concludes at ITA Head Office/ Institute for Professional Learning on “ Engaging with the District Government: Advocating Pro-poor Service Delivery”. July 11th Training completed for the first cohort of teachers of the Female Matriculation Graduation Program in Gwadar.. teachers awarded certificates for the six day training. The Matriculation Academy will begin its work on JUly 20th. Gwadar District is the first one to complete the training and luanch the academy with 17 students. This is a PAIMAN/USAID initiative for reducing maternal and infant mortality rates in Pakistan through qaulified community mid wives

Swabi July 8th 2009. A four day training for primary school teachers and managers will commence at the Shah Mansoor Camp I by a group of trainers from ITA supplemented by Rozan for psycho social support.. Other than Gulaan elementary school all other primary learning initiative partners will send their teachers. Like all trainings in emergencies this too will ensure that INEE standards of minimum care are integrated.

Punjab- On July 6th 2009 ITA’s teams across Punjab will be conducting 12 Punjab Education Foundation(PEF)’s trainings entitled Cluster Based Training (CBT) and School Leadership Development Program (SLDP) in districts. This is a fast paced training covering at least 500 teachers and head teachers in low cost private schools of Punjab.

The six days training workshop will be conducted for the districts of Charsadda & D.I Khan in NWFP and Zhob, Sibi, Jafferabad and Gwadar for Balochistan districts during the month of July.
